We have known Kimberly Marshall since her inauguration on January 16, 2014. She was appointed US Consular Agent to the Balearic Islands. This appointment was preceded by her three years as a US consular assistant at the Palma Agency.
Marshall knows the Islands inside out and has lived in Mallorca for more than twenty years, and is originally from Missouri. Her education includes a master’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from the University of Missouri.
Amongst her many involvements with Mallorcan society, she was decorated with the Cross of Military Merit with a white badge by the Commander General of the Balearic Islands, Fernando García Blázquez, for her attentive predisposition and efficient collaboration in maintaining relations between the Balearic Islands General Command of the Spanish Army and the US Consular Agency in Mallorca, promoting and encouraging sporting and cultural activities between our units and those of her country that stopover in these islands. It also supports, with its presence, the institutional events organised by the General Command. The decoration was published in the Official Bulletin of the Ministry of Defence No. 2 dated January 3, 2020.
From Thursday Daily Bulletin we are extremely grateful for your congratulations. Today we will have it from a distance as the current situation demands it. However, we would like to record this link https://bit.ly/3mSZoy8 in which Kimberly Marshall sends us her best wishes. Thank you very much, Kimberly
