The deadline for implementing the projects, which still have to be defined, will be the end of 2025. At least six projects will have to be implemented.
The Balearic Islands is the autonomous community that receives the most funds in this distribution. From the application of objective criteria, this money is a recognition of the outstanding role that technical and high performance sport has in our autonomous community. Thus, the number of centres, the number of regional and national technification programmes and the number of technification sportsmen and women have been taken into account.
The money that will be managed by the Regional Ministry of Social Affairs and Sport will be used to set up and speed up energy efficiency actions related to the facilities that host technification programmes in the Balearic Islands.
