With a budget of more than 352,000 euros, the project foresees the replacement of blinds and the change of the CEIP’s carpentry with an execution period of 4 months, to be carried out during the summer months, outside the school calendar.

The project consists of:

  • The replacement of the deteriorated roller blinds with horizontal adjustable slats as a solar protection mechanism on the ground floor, first floor and first floor.
  • On the ground floor, fixed slats will also be fitted to all windows that currently have grilles without shutters or louvres. The existing grilles on the exit doors in the courtyard of the main building will be replaced by Mallorcan shutters.
  • The exterior joinery, with the exception of the management office, storeroom and teachers’ toilets, will be replaced by new joinery with RPT and double glazing.
  • All door thresholds that do not exist or are in poor condition will be replaced, as well as other components of the windows with limestone. The existing ones are of two types, natural stone or prefabricated concrete.

The work is being carried out under sustainable criteria and will improve the infrastructure of the centre.

Once this tender is published, all interested companies can apply to the bidding process.
