The Consell de Govern has granted the director-general of the Health Service the prior authorisation to contract the service of surveillance and security of the health centres and basic health units dependent on the Primary Care Management of Mallorca for an estimated value of 9,662,298 €.

The aim of this file is to guarantee the operation of the centres and safeguard the integrity of the staff, users and visitors, as well as to watch over the facilities and assets of the centres.

The aim of the Primary Care Management of Mallorca is to carry out a single public tender in order to have a single, common structure for all the health centres and basic units dependent on the Management.

Between 1 May and 26 September 2022, the new contractor will take over the provision of the service, which will end on 30 April 2025.

The estimated value of the contract is 9,662,298 €, for a contract with an initial duration of thirty-six months (5,329,097 €), with the possibility of an extension of twenty-four months (3,800,290 €) and the possibility of modifications up to 10% of the budget.
