This initiative, promoted by the City Council, is carried out with the aim of bringing together traders, restaurateurs and small business owners of Inca the reality of the business world and new trends in different fields.
This year, as a novelty, each month will be dedicated to a different theme and several activities will be developed complementary to the content of the main presentation.

The Inca City Council today presented a new edition of the IncaBusiness Conference Cycle, which will be held during the months of April, May and June 2022.

The presentation event took place this week at the Esment Inca facilities and was attended by the Mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno; the Councillor for Innovation and Enterprise, María José Fernández; and the Director of the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI), Mariona Luis Tomás; along with representatives of all the collaborating associations and companies.

It should be noted that this is already the ninth edition of these conferences, which aim to bring the reality of the business world and trends to citizens in different fields, such as entrepreneurship, marketing and economic strategy. This year, as a novelty, all the dissemination and training activities will be grouped into thematic blocks. So, in June, it will be dedicated to sport and business, in May to Start Ups and in June to entrepreneurship.

“Edition after edition, this series of conferences has become a point of reference in the Balearic Islands and has managed to consolidate with a wide variety of proposals to help improve the operational dynamics of companies and help boost the commercial and economic fabric of our city, “explains the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

For her part, councillor Fernández points out that “this year we wanted to go a step further and offer a complete series of activities to complement the content of the main document in order to provide a more global vision of each topic”.

Thus, the 9th IncaBusiness cycle of conferences will begin on 7 April with the talk” “Assoleix el teu objectiu i viu una vida plena!” By María Fernádez. During this talk we will talk about how to acquire the determination and commitment necessary to achieve your goals. Fernández is the author of ‘El pequeño libro que hará grande tu vida (5th edition) and Hazte cargo de tu poder, personal, executive and team coach for the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

At the same time, in April, the conference “Equips amb futur, lliçons de La Roja per millorar les organitzacions” will be given by Álvaro Merino and Joan Capdevila and a round table on sport and business.

Then, on 5 May, the Centre Bit will organise the conference “Els grans desafiaments del management del segle XXI”, by Xavier Marcet, president of Lead To Change consultancy specialising in strategy, innovation and transformation for companies, administrations and universities. During his talk, Marcet will try to explain how the Administration should respond to the profound changes that are taking place in the business sector. In addition, in May there will also be a networking and training day on how to create a Start Up.

Meritxell Bautista Quiñones will be responsible for closing this ninth edition of IncaBusiness with the conference “Sense for a Goliath” a female reflection on the personal and professional career of Meritxell Bautista, co-founder of Fibracat and partner of AGE. The lecture will take place on 6 June, at the Centre Bit.

Following the theme in June, this month there will also be another training activity on the Rocky theory and the history of a company in Inca. On the other hand, previously, on Wednesday 30 March, at the Museu del Calçat i la Indústria, there will also be the capsule “Dona Impuls, dones emprenedores”, with the participation of Arceli Iranzo, Patricia Caro and Cati Barceló.
