The BOE publishes the calls for the selective processes for 2,344 positions for permanent employment staff in the General State Administration

The Official State Gazette publishes the call for the selective processes for permanent labour staff corresponding to the 2019 Public Employment Offer, approved by Royal Decree 211/2019, on 29 March.

This call is made by the Secretary of State for Civil Service, in compliance with the provisions of Article 28 of the IV Single Collective Agreement for the General State Administration’s labour staff.

The call for these selective processes includes 1,600 vacancies for open access, 510 for internal promotion and 234 reserved for persons with intellectual disabilities, with the distribution by ministerial departments indicated in this table:

The call follows the general criteria agreed upon by the Joint Commission on 12 July 2021, which govern the processes for free entry and internal promotion in the execution of the Public Employment Offers for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020, under Law 6/2018, of 3 July, on General State Budgets for the year 2018, as well as the rest of the agreements relating to the specialities framed that will be the object of the call.

The call for applications consists of 15 selective processes for open access and internal promotion, plus the call for applications aimed at people with intellectual disabilities.

The calls for applications are published in the Official State Gazette (with the exception of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, scheduled for 1 April). Their management is entrusted to each of the Ministries listed in the attached table.

The tests are an opportunity for people who are looking for a job and decide to join the Administration in order to develop their professional future.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 working days from the day after publication.

The calls for applications can be accessed at the General Access Point, in the public employment section of the website of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration and on the websites of the Ministries that manage the calls for applications.

Applications must be completed on the official application form 790, which can be accessed, in general, through this website or through the electronic registers for the processing of candidates’ registrations in the selection processes.

The vacancies are available in different degree groups and specialities of the IV CUAGE: from M3, which requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, to M1, which requires a basic vocational training qualification.

By groups, the number of vacancies for open access and internal promotion is as follows:

M3: 152
M2: 223
M1: 876
E2: 764
E1: 95
In the M3 group, the specialities of teaching, information sciences and biology stand out in terms of the number of places offered.

In M2, the largest number of vacancies is in the specialities of nursing, social work, and conservation and restoration of cultural property.

The largest number of vacancies are in the professional groups, M1 and E2, in which different vocational training qualifications are required, making a clear commitment to the professionalisation and specialisation established in the IV CUAGE.

In group M1, which can be accessed with a higher vocational training technician qualification, the specialities of aeromechanical maintenance, water treatment plants and installations and telecommunications and computer systems stand out.

In group E2, which requires an intermediate vocational training qualification, the specialities of hydraulic installations and water treatment plants, electromechanics of motor vehicles and commercial activities stand out.

In group E1, for which a basic vocational training qualification is required, the specialities of hydraulic installations and water treatment plants, commercial services, and cooking and catering stand out.

In the call for Intellectual Disability, 234 vacancies are offered for Group E0 – Complementary support tasks, for administrative services.

In response to the needs of the Ministries and Agencies, the positions are distributed throughout Spain and are located in central services as well as in provincial directorates, dependent centres and different autonomous bodies.
