The Regional Ministry of Mobility and Housing resolves a new payment of 3.5 million euros for the 2021 rental subsidies.

With this second payment, the Directorate General for Housing has already paid out 70% of the budget for the call for applications to 3,357 beneficiaries.
The Regional Ministry of Mobility and Housing has approved a second partial grant of aid for housing rental during the year 2021.

As published today in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands, the resolution, signed by councillor Josep Marí, authorises the expenditure of 3,501,987.08€ in favour of 1,827 beneficiaries of the aid aimed at subsidising rent.

These 3.5 million euros in aid already resolved to correspond to 1,530 files, in which the applicants have provided all the documentation and comply with each and every one of the requirements demanded in the 2021 call for rental aid.

The 2021 call for applications has an initial budget of €9,028,000, most of which -8.9 million- comes from the State Housing Plan 2018-2021. In this call for applications, 9,150 applications for rental subsidies have been submitted for 2021.

The Directorate General for Housing made a first payment on 31 May and with this second payment it has already paid out 70% of the budget allocated to the call for applications to 3,357 beneficiaries through the resolution of 2,827 files.
