“September in Inca: Culture in the Street”, which was created with the aim of promoting culture and making it accessible to everyone.

As part of this cycle, Inca will host a free cultural show on the street that will be accessible to everyone every Friday during the month.

The Mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, and the Councillor for Culture of Inca City Council, Alice Weber, today presented a new edition of the programme “September in Inca: Culture in the Street”, which will once again fill the capital of Raiguer with dance, magic, circus, cinema and theatre.

“We are working hard to promote citizen participation in cultural events and to position culture as a distinguishing feature of our city. We want culture to be accessible to everyone and that is why it is important to make it present in the public space. Therefore, we invite all inquers and inquers to enjoy the shows and discover the city’s hotspots, wherever they are held,” says councillor Weber.

Thus, every Friday in September there will be a free cultural show at street level, accessible to all, in the municipality of Inca.

The cycle begins next Friday, 9 September, with the dance performance “Dosis + All Inclusive”, which will be held in the Plaça de S’Aigua at 7.30 pm. “Dosis” is a garment inspired by women and all the women inside them; it is a journey through different states, where the performers meet, coincide and lose themselves in different ways. On the other hand, “All inclusive” is a reflective and critical look at the role we assume when we adopt the role of tourist, in a social moment in which globalisation, massification and fear of foreign invasion are the order of the day.

Then, on Friday 16 September, the Plaza del Órgano will host “Clowdestino”, a circus and magic show that tells the story of a clown who has been travelling around the world for many years, searching for the most magical part of everything that surrounds him. Then, on Friday 23rd September, the audience will be able to enjoy the family film “Dilili a Paris”, in Blanquer square.

Finally, on Friday the 30th of September, the “September in Inca: Culture in the Street” cycle moves to the Binissatí holm oak grove with the play “Palabras que rompen huesos” (Words that break bones), performed by the Pagans company. To be able to access this show it is necessary to sign up in advance through the website ticketib.com.
