Fet a Sóller, winner of the Illes Balears 2022 SME of the Year Award

Fet a Sóller, a company in the agri-food sector, has received in Palma the award that accredits it as SME of the Year 2022 of the Balearic Islands. The prize, awarded by Banco Santander and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, has the collaboration of Cámara España, the newspaper Última Hora and the Conselleria de Sectors Productius i Memòria Democràtica del Govern de les Illes Balears.

Franz Kraus, CEO of Fet a Sóller, and Martí Guardiola, head of Marketing and Communication, received the award from Santander’s regional director in the Balearic Islands, Celia Torrebadella. The event was also attended by the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Eduardo Soriano; the regional secretary for Productive Sectors, Jesús Jurado; and the president of the Serra Group, Carmen Serra.

The SME of the Year Awards aims to recognise the performance of small and medium-sized companies, whose activity is fundamental for the creation of employment and the economic development of the island. They are aimed at companies with fewer than 250 employees and an annual turnover of fewer than 50 million euros. This year they reach their sixth edition with a record number of nominations received, 71 in total from different productive sectors.
