To improve the quality and equity of education
Adult learning is considered a productive investment, as it benefits the individual, the community and society in general. Thus, among the educational measures to improve the quality and equity of education, such as the conception of a more flexible education system and the promotion of lifelong learning throughout life, it is necessary to introduce measures that favour the improvement of academic results. For this reason, the Regional Ministry considers it important to publicly highlight the effort and academic performance of adult learners who, thanks to their perseverance and special dedication, have managed to obtain the graduation certificate.
It should be noted that lifelong learning and the return of young people to the education system are priority objectives of the Regional Ministry.
