“We have renewed our commitment to the Fons Mallorquí because we firmly believe in international cooperation, and we consider that this association carries out an essential task in the countries most affected by the consequences of wars and economic crises,” said the councillor Maria Antònia Pons.

Thus, for yet another year, the association Fons Mallorquí de Solidaritat i Cooperació will receive a grant of 20,000 euros for the development of its projects and initiatives. “For us it is very important to maintain this collaboration and to continue contributing decisively in order to help the people who need it most. We also share our commitment to the development of the 2030 Agenda,” Moreno stresses.

The Fons Mallorquí is a non-profit organisation whose main objective is to bring together the efforts of local and regional institutions in Mallorca in solidarity actions. Inca, with this action, helps countries such as Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Mali, Morocco, Nicaragua, Niger, Peru, and Senegal; among others.
