The Advisory Commission has agreed that the two days that local councils can change are 12 March and 25 June.
The Directorate General for Trade met this Thursday at the Department of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory to discuss the sector’s Inter-island Advisory Committee, in order to discuss the calendar of Sundays and public holidays for commercial opening in 2023.

The Commission, which brings together employers’ associations, trade unions and consumer associations, has voted to approve the proposal that includes the list of the ten public holidays with an authorised opening in 2023. The days set are:

The Commission has also agreed that the two days that local councils can change are 12 March and 25 June. It should be noted that the local councils have until 15 November to notify the Directorate General for Trade of any changes.
