The Illes Balears Institute for Health Research (IdISBa) is organising a free chamber concert on 30th November entitled “The mutation of literature into music and its palliative effects”. The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the music room of the Can Balaguer Cultural Centre.

The aim of the event is to bring the Institute closer to society and, consequently, to health research. The musicians will perform a historical tour of musical pieces that have been composed under the condition of the illness of their composer.

Laura de la Fuente (soprano), Llorenç Prats (piano) and Enrique Sánchez (flute) will perform works by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Ottorino Respighi and Igor Stravinsky.
