New basic Catalan language course for families in Maó, in the Balearic Islands

The Institute of Balearic Studies and the Directorate General of Language Policy are organising an A1 level Catalan language course for families at CEIP Virgen del Carmen in Maó. The target group are parents with little or no knowledge of the Catalan language who wish to help their children learn and want to be able to understand and generate basic-level conversations in simple situations.

The duration of the course will be 40 hours divided into two two-hour sessions per week, Monday and Wednesday, from 9 am to 11 am. It will start on 23 January 2022 and end on 5 April 2023. The price is 30 euros, with tuition fee reductions of up to 100%. The enrolment period is from 19 December 2022 to 10 January 2023.
