The Eco-environmental Centres Programme was set up in 2004 on the initiative of the Environment and Education Departments. The aim is to promote environmental education in the life of schools in the Balearic Islands. The proposal involves supporting educational centres in designing work plans related to the environment and integrating them into their own curricula and syllabuses.
