The Consell de Govern has authorised the Conselleria de Asuntos Sociales y Deportes to spend €1,200,000, derived from the biennial call for grants for expenses derived from the ordinary activity of the sports federations of the Balearic Islands between 2023 and 2024, which represents an increase of a total sum of €100,000 (from €550,000 to €600,000 per year).

The call meets the needs of the sports federations of the Balearic Islands to help the development of their ordinary activity in order to carry out the administrative and organisational tasks necessary for the regulation and management of activities related to the sport or sports included in their statutes.
