The amount of the aid is 250 € per month to the beneficiary, with a limit of the monthly amount of the rent. In no case and in no monthly payment may the sum of the aid received by young people up to 35 years of age at the time of applying for the aid who live in the home exceed the amount of the rent stated in the contract.

The amount received by these beneficiaries corresponds to the months of rent due and justified until now before the Directorate General for Housing and Architecture. From now on they can continue to justify new monthly payments up to a maximum of two years and a maximum of €6,000 in aid. To continue paying monthly payments to these 817 beneficiaries, a further €3,521,207 has been committed from the call for applications.

Currently, the processing of all the correct files has been completed and those that needed to be corrected in some aspect are currently being reviewed.

The budget earmarked for the Bono Alquiler Joven is 9.6 million euros, in two annual instalments (2022 and 2023) of 4.8 million euros each, through which direct aid will be given to tenants who hold rental contracts for their habitual and permanent residence.

This aid will be granted for two years to young people who do not exceed three times the IPREM in annual terms (€24,300), for rents of up to €900.

The Bono Alquiler Joven grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those applications that are complete and correct.

It is expected that at least 1,600 young people between 18 and 35 years of age in the Balearic Islands will be able to benefit from the aid.
