Almost 25 million euros of aid under the first pillar of the CAP has thus been paid out.

The Agricultural and Fisheries Guarantee Fund of the Balearic Islands (FOGAIBA), of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has begun to pay this Friday 1,836,494.29 euro of the associated aid for surface area, nuts, rice and protein crops of the CAP 2022. In this way, 24,961,207.98 euros have already been paid out for the first pillar of the CAP 2022.

According to the Regional Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mae de la Concha, “the effort is continuing to reach more and more of the amount paid and more farmers and livestock farmers who apply for aid, in months in which production costs and the price of raw materials have risen”.

The highest payment is for aid associated with nuts with 792,248.10 euros, followed by the basic payment with 625,909.31 euros, and the green payment with 363,734.16 euros. 32,800.28 euros have also been paid from the youth payment, 15,794.18 euros from protein crops, 3,819.94 euros from the small farmers’ scheme and 2,188.32 euros from rice cultivation.

247,000 euros in January

FOGAIBA paid out 247,146.23 euros in January. This includes 205,000 euros in fisheries aid and 41,300 euros from the State Aid and CMO service, almost all of which went to the agricultural insurance line.
