Offer of minor service contract

Tarraco Viva is a historical re-enactment festival that was born in 1999 as an activity to support the candidacy of the city of Tarragona to be inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Today, more than twenty years later, it is a festival that is fully rooted in the city and a benchmark among the festivals of this theme that are held in Spain.

The Tarraco Viva festival will be held between 8 and 21 May. Therefore, there will be a first phase of work consisting of the preparation of the stand and the expedition to Tarragona, and a second phase consisting of the development of the activity during the days of Menorca Talayotica’s participation in the festival.

The planned expenses for this activity cannot exceed €15,000 (excluding VAT). This cost includes all expenses related to the activity, including travel and accommodation for the Menorcan expedition to Tarraco Viva.

The purpose of the minor contract is to organise the participation of the Consell Insular in the Tarraco Viva historical re-enactment festival, with the following tasks and functions:

a) Organise the Menorca Talayotic stand at Tarraco Viva and manage its participation with the festival organisers.
b) To present Menorca’s prehistoric heritage and, in particular, the Menorca Talayotic candidacy for World Heritage status to those attending the festival. c) To draw up the exhibition project for the stand and the activities to be carried out during the festival, in agreement with the person in charge of the contract.
d) To organise complementary activities: conferences, historical recreations, theatrical performances or others that may be proposed in the project.
e) Managing the movement of the human team and material necessary for Tarraco Viva (travel, accommodation, food).
f) Dissemination of this participation through social networks and Menorca Talayotica’s website in coordination with Menorca Talayotica’s communication team.
