Inca City Council

The Inca City Council, through the Training Centre, starts the SOIB Reactiva 2022 employment project, which incorporates 49 unemployed people into the municipal staff on a temporary basis.

The welcome ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, the Councillor for Training and Employment, Alice Weber, and the Director of SOIB, Pilar Ortiz.

The councillor, Alice Weber, highlighted “the constant implementation of employment projects in Inca in recent years to generate opportunities for unemployed Inca residents and improve the employability of young people”.

For her part, the director of the SOIB, Pilar Ortiz, said that the SOIB is deeply grateful for the collaboration we have with the City Council of Inca; if it were not for this support we would not be able, from the Government, to reach all the people of the municipalities with public calls. Moreover, we have a close collaboration with Inca”.

This project has a duration of 6 months and has two lines of recruitment, for unemployed people between 16 and 30 years of age and for people over 30 years of age who are long-term unemployed.

The jobs to be filled by the people hired in line 1 will be those of administrative assistant, environmental informer, civic agent, cleaning staff, painting labourer, stonemason and gardening officer. Line 2 includes positions for administrative clerks, caretakers, paint workers, garden workers and cleaning staff.

The SOIB Reactiva 2022 project in Inca has involved a total investment of 549,041.14€ and has been promoted by the SOIB and financed by the Sectorial Conference of Employment and Labour Affairs.
