This morning, the IBAVI handed over the keys to the development of 43 public housing units in Plaza de Can Ribes (numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4) in Palma’s Soledad neighbourhood.

The prices of the flats, including rent and expenses, range from 264.72 € to 654.06 €, so none of the beneficiaries will have to pay more than 30% of their monthly income.

The profiles of the tenants are 21 families of single parents with children, 5 couples without children, 6 couples with children and 1 unit of sisters.

The 43 dwellings are accessible, have 2 bedrooms and are between 46.32 m² and 61.52 m².

It should be remembered that the site was ceded free of charge by the town hall in 2019. The site on which the development is located has a surface area of 1,706.46 m², of which 4,989.28 m² are built and 1,687.36 m² are for parking.

The budget for the development was €6,562,315.18 (excluding VAT) and the work was completed in 23 months.
