Alcúdia has celebrated this special day with the “Subida a la Victoria”, the race and the walk of the giants, on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of July. The verbena with Sarau Alcudienc and Tacàritx. Buñuelos, mistela, burnt rum and this year ‘Agua de la Victoria’.

The celebration this Sunday of the Feast of Our Lady of Victory

Traditional events throughout the day began with the parade of the municipal music band, in Alcúdia and in La Victoria, the typical corridas de joyas, the religious act and the blessing of the manzanilla (chamomile).

And then, as is traditional, the municipal band of Alcúdia played the “jota alcudiense” in the Ballador with the traditional dance of the mayoress of Alcúdia Fina Linares and her man Miguel Contreras.
