The merger of the Conselleria de Mobilitat with the Conselleria de Territory means a saving of half a million euros.
The president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, has presided over this morning the act of taking possession of the councillors and executive councillors of the Consell de Mallorca. The new insular government will be formed by five men and three women. All of them will make up the Consell Executiu (Executive Council) of the island institution.

A team “prepared, with clear ideas and that will implement the Agreements of Government for Mallorca with the aim of improving the life of the citizens”, according to the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés.
The organisation chart is made up of eight departments, one less than the previous government team. The president of the island institution has unified the Department of Mobility and Infrastructures with that of the Territory. This means a saving of half a million euros in the four years of his term of office.
