The director general of the Health Service, Javier Ureña, has appointed Soledad Gallardo as the new manager of Son Llàtzer University Hospital. The event was attended by the Regional Minister of Health, Manuela García. The appointment confirms the company’s firm desire to invest in professionals with technical profiles and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector.

The new manager of Son Llàtzer University Hospital has an extensive professional career in the health management sector and in the field of teaching. She has a degree in Nursing and a degree in Anthropology; she has a university master’s degree in the Information and Knowledge Society, a diploma in Integrated Health Services Management (DSIS) from the ESADE business school and a university expert’s degree in Management.

For the last eight years, Soledad Gallardo has been in charge of the Hospital Comarcal de Inca as manager. Throughout her professional career, she has been Director of Care and Director of the Clinical Management Area of Hospitalisation at the Hospital Universitario Son Espases, Operational Director at the Policlínica Miramar and Director of Nursing and Deputy Director at GESMA. She has also worked in the areas of quality and information systems as a clinical analyst.
