Once all the reports have been reviewed, the legal department of the IBAVI, on Tuesday, August 1, sent the administrative file corresponding to the procedure for the acquisition by the IBAVI of the building of 88 homes located at Calle de Brotad, 29 (Palma), in the exercise of the right of first refusal in the transfers of real estate between large holders provided for in Law 5/2018, of June 19, of Housing of the Balearic Islands to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for its knowledge and appropriate legal effects.

Luxury homes

This action was announced at a press conference by the Councilor for Housing, Territory and Mobility, Marta Vidal, and by the Councilor for Economy, Finance and Innovation, Antoni Costa, on July 20, where it was announced that the Govern desists from the operation of acquisition by first refusal of 88 luxury homes for 25.8 million euros. The procedure, authorized by the outgoing Government once in office, has been suspended as a precautionary measure by the courts since June 26.
