A new call for ExposabyIDI
ExposabyIDI incorporates design as a tool to enhance the value of articles made on the different islands. Thus, participating companies receive personalized advice from IDI, which visits the space, analyzes its shortcomings and makes a proposal to improve the exhibition design of the area where the local product will be exhibited. In addition, visual merchandising techniques are also applied, such as product placement or composition studies. All this, to highlight the local product through the renovation, adaptation and customization of the space for its sale.
The program also contributes to promoting the figure of the interior designer, with its benefits and differentiating features, necessary and to be taken into account in the strategy of a company.
ExposabyIDI is open to companies that manufacture or sell local products from the Balearic Islands and that have an exhibition space, whether they are commercial premises; industries; stands for local, national or international fairs, or others.
So far, a total of 51 companies have participated in ExposabyIDI, 40% of which have already materialized the renovation project or are in the process of doing so. As for the sectors of the participants, the majority are agri-food (45%), habitat (27%) and fashion (12%).
The Exposa project is an action of the Industry Plan. Specifically, it is part of the line of technological acceleration, modernization and innovation, which promotes the incorporation of interior design as an element of modernity and competitive improvement of industrial companies in the Balearic Islands.
