Students in the Balearic Islands
Given the results, the councillor reaffirms the Government’s commitment to work to achieve academic excellence.
The National Institute for Educational Evaluation (INEE) released the results of the PISA 2022 report published by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) today. According to these results, the students of the Balearic Islands are at the average of the three skills assessed, which, in the 2022 edition, have been mathematics, as the main skill, and reading comprehension and science, as secondary skills.
About the overall averages of the study, although there are slight differences in the median scores of the Balearic Islands concerning those of the Spanish state average in all the competencies, these are not statistically significant, and it can therefore be affirmed that the Balearic Islands are at the state average in all the competencies assessed.
