1.2 million more aid is approved

At the proposal of the Department of Enterprise, Employment and Energy, the Consell de Govern has approved a new increase of funds amounting to 1,200,000 euros for the granting of aid to maintain the jobs of people with disabilities in special employment centres. With this new increase, the investment allocated to this call rises to 9,900,000 euros this year, which will allow us to meet the applications for aid submitted.

It should be noted that the call for subsidies to maintain jobs for people with disabilities in special employment centres also contemplates the adaptation of jobs and the elimination of architectural barriers.

Three programs are contemplated within this call for proposals: Program 1 partially finances the salary costs of severely disabled persons providing services in special employment centres of social indispensability. Program 2 is aimed at partially financing the salary costs of severely disabled people who provide services in other special employment centres. Finally, Program 3 corresponds to aid for the adaptation of jobs and the elimination of architectural barriers.

These aids are financed from funds received from the State Public Employment Service, managed by the autonomous communities.
