The agreement for the service for dependent children

\ The agreement would double the number of children assisted.

The Consell de Govern has authorized the agreement, to be processed by the Conselleria de Familias y Asuntos Sociales, of the service for dependent children from 6 to 11 years old for the period 2024-2028. The concerted action will be for accredited entities with a maximum of one thousand annual places and a total of 13,333,920 €.

Currently, the service for dependent children from 6 to 11 years of age serves 521 people. Therefore, the approved agreement would practically double the number of children attended.

The service from 6 to 11 years of age aims to achieve the highest possible level of autonomy among children, facilitating and initiating social inclusion and promoting their social and community participation, thus stimulating social relations. It also aims to guarantee the principle of equal opportunities for a particularly defenceless and vulnerable sector of the population.

It is also intended to achieve maximum personal autonomy and promotion of basic activities of daily living through secondary neurorehabilitation activities and habilitation of the active functionality of physical abilities, and also to facilitate the basic conditions of accessibility and non-discrimination for access to and use of technologies, products and services related to the information society and any means of social communication.
