Work begins on the new athletics track complex in Maó
The Consell Insular de Menorca will provide 1.5 million euros to finance the project, and the works are scheduled to take four months to complete.
We promised that sports facilities would be a priority for the current government team, and we have kept our word. One year later, work has begun on the complete refurbishment of the Maó athletics track, so that Menorcan athletes and sportsmen and women can train and compete in good conditions. Finally, I would also like to thank La Salle de Maó for their willingness to collaborate with the athletics entities so that they can continue their ordinary activities during the works’, concluded the councillor.
