The Sindicatura de Greuges and the Consell Insular de Menorca will deal with different issues on a more continuous basis to improve communication between both parties. One of the measures agreed between the ombudsmen and the president of the Consell Insular, Adolfo Vilafranca, is to hold frequent meetings with the island’s director of the Presidency, Maria José Ramírez, to gather the needs of the Sindicatura and fulfil everything they may need.

The Sindicatura de Greuges and the Consell Insular de Menorca (Minorca Island Council) establish mechanisms for better collaboration
In this sense, the island institution has already taken steps to be able to count on different legal advisors from the Consell who can respond to more technical queries and guide the members of the Sindicatura with a legal response.
The president of the Consell Insular wishes to express his support for the management and defence of the interests of Menorcans through the work carried out by the members of the Sindicatura de Greuges.
Likewise, Vilafranca is grateful for the work carried out by the Sindicatura Pepa Gil, who has tendered her resignation.
