The Consell de Govern has authorised the extension of the contract for the supply of the group B meningococcal vaccine for the year 2025, for an amount of 1,508,000 euros. The purchase of 25,000 doses will allow the vaccination of around 9,000 children on the islands. The group B meningococcal vaccine is included in the vaccination schedule for all children during the first year of life, in a three-dose schedule at 2, 4 and 12 months.
