These aids are granted to sportsmen and women of the Balearic Islands based on the results obtained in national and international competitions.

The purpose of the subsidy is to improve the means and materials of training of the sportsmen and women and to pay the inscriptions to competitions.

The Consell de Govern has approved the provision of an expenditure of 1,100,000 euros in the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports to launch the call for aid to outstanding athletes of the Balearic Islands so that they can improve training resources and access to competitions in 2025.
