The programme, which focuses on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs to face the challenges of digitalisation, has come to an end.

The Oficina Acelera Pyme Rural Consell de Mallorca has advised more than 700 companies since its inception. This initiative, focused on digital transformation and support for the business fabric of the island’s rural areas, has offered key services such as digitalisation consultancy, aid to access the Digital Kit and specialised training sessions. In total, 210 digitalisation consultancies and 423 Digital Kit-related consultancies were provided, as well as 94 training sessions.

The Office has also worked closely with town councils of municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants and local entities, fostering cooperation through 15 strategic meetings and organising 14 networking events that have connected business people and entrepreneurs in the area.

To close the project, the ‘III Construint Juntes’ event was held in Son Servera, a space dedicated to women entrepreneurs to share experiences, promote networking and highlight success stories in the digital sphere.

In 24 months of activity, the Office has exceeded the expectations of the Acelera Pyme programme, promoted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, making a significant contribution to the economic development and digitalisation of the rural areas of Mallorca, preparing companies to face the challenges of the future.
