Companies will be able to receive up to 2,000 € for each student hired during the period between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025.
The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities, through the Directorate General for Vocational Training and Educational Organisation, has opened a call for applications for financial aid for companies and non-profit organisations that hire students enrolled in intensive dual vocational training courses.
This call, published in BOIB no. 168 of 24 December 2024, aims to improve the quality of intensive dual vocational training in the Balearic Islands for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities announces financial aid for companies and non-profit organisations that hire intensive dual vocational training students
The aid is aimed at companies and non-profit organisations that have hired at least one student enrolled in an intensive dual vocational training cycle in the Balearic Islands, through an alternating training contract, between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025.
For the 2024-2025 academic year €300,000 will be available for these grants. Each company or entity may receive a maximum of €2,000 per student hired for the entire period, with a limit of six students per company or entity.
Applications can be submitted electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands until 24 March 2025. These grants are compatible with other subsidies for the hiring of vocational training students, as long as the total cost of the subsidised activity is not exceeded.
