Environmental commitment: towards Prezero certification

The main goal of RCD Mallorca’s commitment to sustainability this year is to obtain the Prezero certification, a standard that guarantees the best practices in waste management. To this end, the club has implemented a waste compactor and has placed educational posters throughout the stadium, promoting environmental awareness among fans.

Thanks to the recent refurbishment of its stadium, RCD Mallorca has introduced sustainable innovations such as a rainwater recycling system on the new roof, the installation of LED lights throughout the facilities and the measurement of its carbon footprint. In addition, the club organises impact actions such as beach clean-ups, demonstrating its active commitment to the environment.

The project is based on a comprehensive approach based on three key pillars of sustainability: the social axis, good governance and transparency, and the environmental axis.

A strategic alliance for sustainability

The Government of the Balearic Islands, through the AETIB, supports this project as a sponsor of RCD Mallorca, reaffirming its commitment to initiatives that unite sport, tourism and culture under the prism of sustainability.
