This figure represents 29% of the total number of appointments attended, distributed among the 34 offices that the Tax Agency has spread throughout the islands.

In the rest of the offices of the regional administration, appointments are preferential, but not compulsory, for accessing the in-person services.

Between 18 July 2023 and 1 January 2025, the Tax Agency of the Balearic Islands attended to 82,059 citizens of the Balearic Islands without prior appointment at the 34 offices it has spread throughout the islands. This figure represents 29% of the 282,963 appointments attended to in total.

In the central services of Palma, Maó and Eivissa, walk-in service is provided in all cases, while in the remaining 31 offices – Palma, Eivissa, Formentera and the Part Forana of Mallorca – it is limited to the over 65s and people with disabilities.

On the other hand, it should be remembered that the regional administration of the Balearic Islands has a network of offices spread throughout the islands, where citizens can submit letters, requests, complaints or communications addressed to any department of the Balearic Islands Administration, to the General State Administration or to any local or regional administration body. In addition, the offices that offer this service allow you to apply for registration in the Cl@ve and Apodera systems.

The Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands is a member of the Electronic Registration System for Powers of Attorney for Public Administrations (APODERA), which allows the registration of the powers of attorney of interested parties (both apud acta and those granted by means of a power of attorney) in an administrative procedure in favour of a representative.

At the same time, Cl@ve is another identification system, using a username and password, aimed at simplifying electronic access by citizens to public services, as it is a system based on agreed passwords, with full security guarantees. In order to take advantage of these benefits, prior registration is required, which can be done at our registry assistance offices.

Appointments can be made at a number of offices via the free mobile application Cita Previa GOIB or by calling 012. Although prior appointment is preferential, it is not compulsory to access face-to-face services, except in those specific services where, exceptionally, it is so determined.
