Cirer is committed to continue working to achieve the ‘fair’ equalisation of the professionals’ salaries with those of the Consell de Mallorca.

The councillor of Families and Social Affairs, Catalina Cirer, met today with the professionals of the Foundation of Care and Support for Dependency and Promotion of Personal Autonomy on the island of Mallorca and listened to their demands. The Director General for Dependency Care, María Castro, the Secretary General of the Regional Ministry, David Lozano, and the Foundation’s manager, Sira Fiz, attended the meeting.

Cirer has pledged to continue working to achieve the ‘fair’ equalisation of salaries for professionals to those of the Consell de Mallorca, one of the main demands of the staff, and thanked the unions for their collaboration.

The councillor also expressed her optimism concerning a more favourable scenario that will make it possible to achieve this equalisation, which represents 3.5 million euros over three years.
