The amount of the extension is 9,723,970 euros.
The current contract ends in March 2025 and will be extended for 36 months.
The Consell de Govern authorises the director general of the Health Service to process the extension of the contract for the supply of medical gases and gases for sanitary use for the Balearic Islands Health Service centres, corresponding to groups 1 and 2.

This is an extension of the contract for the amount of 9,723,970 euros and a duration of thirty-six months, from 6 March 2025 to 5 March 2028.
Medical gas treatment in healthcare centres is well established and is constantly increasing in terms of consumption and therapies. Hospitals need a wide variety of gases to carry out their daily activities. The quality, quantity and variety of gases is growing due to new applications, existing applications already in use and the use of more precise techniques, which constitute a very heterogeneous group, with different presentations and packaging and different routes of administration, dosage and dosage.
It is also essential that gas storage facilities are in perfect condition and ensure compliance with safety regulations for both patients and workers.
