The stays will take place at the So n’Amer refuge and will allow 88 young people to enjoy an immersive experience in a privileged natural environment. During the stays, there will be excursions, creative activities, cooperative games, orienteering dynamics and exploration of the environment, among others. The program is divided into two shifts according to the year of birth of the participants: from the 21st to 23rd of April, for those born between 2013 and 2014, and from the 23rd to 26th of April, for those born between 2011 and 2012.

The Consell de Mallorca is subsidising 85% of the total cost, which has made it possible to offer the places at €27.72 for the first shift and €30.36 for the second shift, which includes transport to and from Inca, full board and all the activities planned.

The Councilor of the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, was very positive about the response to the call for participants and underscored the importance of this type of initiative: ‘This success reaffirms the need to promote proposals that bring young people closer to our natural and cultural environment. The Serra de Tramuntana is a unique area, a world heritage site, and we want the new generations to get to know it, value it and protect it. This experience will allow them to do so in an active, educational and experiential way’.

Antoni Fuster also explained that the program is part of the Consell’s commitment to educational leisure policies that contribute to generating ties between young people and the territory.
