Likewise, the Consell de Govern has previously authorised the provision of these amounts, which will allow the formalisation of the agreement between the Conselleria and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca. By means of this agreement, the entity undertakes to collaborate in the management of the campaign, to be the channel for relations with the participating businesses to articulate their adhesion and to control the proper development of the commitments acquired.
In addition, the collaborating entity will assume the functions of depositary and distributor of the funds, coordination of the distribution operations and of the discount vouchers to the beneficiary individuals, and will redeem the discount vouchers used in the subsidised purchase and sale operations.
The allocation to carry out this collaboration (256,425.28 euros, VAT included), will be settled once the chamber has submitted the supporting documentation specified in the agreement.
Through the ‘Balears Bons de Comerç’ programme, the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy, via the Directorate General for Enterprise, the Self-Employed and Trade, aims to boost local trade, especially that carried out by the self-employed, micro-enterprises and small retail businesses.
