The Government resolves the first payment of the 2024 housing rental aid for one million euros to 435 beneficiaries

The Government of the Balearic Islands, through the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture, has resolved the first payment of the 2024 housing rental aid, amounting to 1,045,010.43 euros, to 435 beneficiaries. The payment resolution was published this Thursday in the BOIB (Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands).

In the distribution by islands, the first payment of the 2024 aid has been granted to 330 people in Mallorca, for an amount of more than 793,000 euros; to 83 in Menorca, for about 194,000 euros; to 18 in Ibiza, for almost 46,000 euros, and to 4 people in Formentera, for 12,000 euros. On the other hand, the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture last week, on Tuesday 1 April, resolved the eighth payment of the 2023 housing rental subsidies, reaching almost 8.8 million euros, to 3,863 beneficiaries.

As for the distribution by islands, of the total 2023 aid, these have been granted to 2,785 people in Mallorca, for an amount of more than 6.2 million euros; to 676 people in Menorca, for an amount of more than 1.5 million; to 360 people in Eivissa, for more than 870,000 euros; and to 42 people in Formentera, for almost 91,000 euros.
