Ten classrooms are being fitted out to house the 852 students of the adult education centre as of September
Work has begun this week to fit out the space that will be used for CEPA Pitiüses in the Cetis building in Eivissa. Specifically, work is being carried out on ten premises that will temporarily serve as the location for the adult education centre, until the definitive headquarters, included in the Educational Investment Plan, are built next to CEIP Can Cantó.
The councillor of Education and Universities, Antoni Vera, along with the regional secretary of Educational Development, Mateu Suñer; the regional director of Education in Eivissa and Formentera, Juan Álvarez, and the director of CEPA Pitiüses, Marisol Torres, visited the facilities.

Work begins to locate the CEPA Pitiüses in the Cetis offices in Eivissa
The goal of the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats is for this space to be operational as of September, at the start of the next school year. For the time being, the 852 students and 23 teachers continue to teach in the old Sa Bodega school. The reason for this move, while awaiting the new CEPA Pitiüses, is that the Ajuntament d’Eivissa has ceded this site to the government to build a development of 160 homes.
The CEPA Pitiüses offers formal training – to obtain the secondary school leaving certificate – and non-formal training, with courses in Catalan, Spanish, IT, preparation for obtaining Spanish nationality and for people over 25 years of age who want to go to university.
