In total, 12 public holidays have been established in the work calendar for next year
The Consell de Govern has approved the calendar of public holidays for 2026 in the Balearic Islands, at the proposal of the Conselleria de Empresa, Empleo y Energía, by the calendar of 12 public holidays approved unanimously at the Tripartite Social Committee.

Approval of the calendar of public holidays in the Balearic Islands for 2026
Thus, by current state and autonomous community regulations, the following dates will be public holidays in the autonomous community:
1 January (New Year’s Day)
6 January (Epiphany of the Lord)
2 March (the day following the Day of the Balearic Islands)
2 April (Maundy Thursday)
3 April (Good Friday)
6 April (Easter Monday)
1 May (Labour Day)
15 August (Assumption of the Virgin)
12 October
8 December (Immaculate Conception)
25 December (Christmas)
26 December (Second Christmas Day)
Likewise, the Consell de Govern has informed the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy of this agreement and has ordered its publication in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands.
