During the concert, the Requiem by the French composer Gabriel Fauré was performed, a piece charged with symbolism and sensitivity. The performance was given by the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, conducted by Pablo Mielgo, and the University Choir of the Balearic Islands, conducted by Núria Cunillera. The soloists were soprano Lorena Bonnín and baritone José Antonio López, who gave an outstanding performance for the large audience.
This event, which has established itself as a cultural and solidarity event of reference on the islands, aims to raise funds to continue with the social integration and support programmes for people with addiction problems promoted by Projecte Home Balears.
