The purpose of the call is to partially or fully subsidise local entities and parents’ associations.
The government considers leisure-time activities to be one of the most effective resources for families to achieve a work-life balance.
The Consell de Govern has authorised the Minister of Families and Social Affairs to allocate up to €1,050,000 for the call for subsidies to organise child and youth leisure education activities. These subsidies are intended for local entities and parents’ associations to help balance work and family life during the school holidays of summer and Christmas 2025.

€1,050,000 Allocated to Child and Youth Leisure Education Activities
The objective of this call is to partially or fully subsidise local entities and parents’ associations for the organisation of educational leisure activities for children and youth, carried out by local authorities and parents’ associations from educational centres. The aim is to support families with children and adolescents aged 3 to 16 years in managing their time and promoting co-responsibility.
Although the budget may be increased, €900,000 will be allocated to Line A (local entities) and €150,000 to Line B (parents’ associations).
The Government views educational leisure activities in their various formats (holiday schools, camps, sports programs, etc.) as one of the most valuable tools available to families during school holidays to balance family and work life. It also acknowledges that the responsibility for organising many of these activities often falls on the parents’ associations of the educational centres.
