This contribution will finance 40.49% of the orchestra’s total annual programming costs

The Executive Council of the Consell Insular de Menorca has approved a collaboration agreement between the island administration and the Illa de Menorca Chamber Orchestra Association (OCIM) for the performances scheduled in 2025.

The OCIM is a non-profit musical association dedicated to organising and programming musical activities in Menorca. It also plays an important social and educational role. Each year, OCIM performs in nursing homes and hospitals to bring music to those unable to attend concerts in person. The orchestra also offers educational concerts for primary and secondary schools to introduce music to younger audiences and help them better understand its value. Additionally, it has held educational concerts in Menorca’s penitentiary centre.
