The Consell de Mallorca has unveiled the official poster for the 67th Gran Premi de Manacor, which will take place on Sunday, June 15 at the Manacor Racetrack. The event also included the draw for the starting positions of the horses participating in this iconic race on the Balearic harness racing calendar, one of the most anticipated race days in the Llevant region of the island.

The Consell de Mallorca Presents the 67th Edition of the Gran Premi de Manacor, to Be Held on Sunday, June 15
Pedro Bestard, Second Vice President and Councillor for Environment, Rural Affairs, and Sports, took part in the presentation of one of the most eagerly awaited sporting events in Mallorca’s harness racing scene. Also in attendance were Gaspar Oliver, President of the Institut de l’Esport Hípic de Mallorca (IEHM), and Juan Antonio Rosselló, President of the Balearic Harness Racing Federation (FBT), along with numerous trainers and fans.
In his speech, Pedro Bestard stated:
“On Sunday, June 15, we’ll enjoy one of the most historic races in the Balearic Islands — a great opportunity for families, fans, breeders, and trainers to come together.”
He also emphasised the strong moment the sport of harness racing is experiencing in Mallorca, thanks to the support and investment of the island’s governing body:
“We’re seeing more races, more investment, and more visibility.”
Bestard further noted:
“We can proudly say that in 2025 we’ve increased the budget of the Mallorca Horse Racing Institute by almost 19%. Since the beginning of this term, we’ve added 50 more races at the Manacor Racetrack and 28 more at Son Pardo Racetrack. These are facts, not just words.”
