MIRACLE DE LADIL and JAUME FLUXÀ clinched victory in the 67th Grand Prix of Manacor, held this afternoon at the Manacor Hippodrome, known as the heart of trotting in Mallorca. The stands were packed with enthusiastic fans who witnessed a race that generated great anticipation.
The Grand Prix delivered a heart-stopping race defined by a comeback that has already become part of the event’s history. Dorsal number 2, MATADOR, started strong and led the race confidently from the outset, maintaining the lead throughout the course. Victory seemed certain — until the final stretch. Dorsal number 8, MIRACLE DE LADIL, driven by Jaume Fluxà, who had trailed at the back for most of the race, made an astonishing comeback. With a brilliant final acceleration, he overtook all his rivals and crossed the finish line in first place with a lap time of 1’17″90, leaving the audience stunned and overturning all predictions. A win as unexpected as it was deserved, once again confirming that in the GPM, nothing is decided until the very last meter.

The 2025 Grand Prix of Manacor awarded a total of €18,000 in prizes, solidifying its status as one of the most prestigious events in the Balearic horse racing calendar.
A Weekend of Horse Racing Festivities in Llevant
This weekend featured two intense trotting race days at the Manacor Hippodrome — one of the most anticipated and important celebrations of trotting in Mallorca, and one of the most historic competitions in the Balearic Islands.
The morning session of Sunday’s trotting day kicked off with the 2025 Manacor Children’s Grand Prix, won by JUANA DE FONT and Simó Morro. Five more races followed in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
In the afternoon, races began at 4:30 p.m., leading up to the weekend’s main event. Just minutes before the race started, the best three-year-old horses entered the track to compete for the coveted 2025 Grand Prix of Manacor trophy. Eight foals ultimately participated after two major contenders withdrew. The ‘M’ generation experienced a colorful lead-up, filled — as tradition dictates — with music and excitement.
On Saturday, June 14, the 2025 Manacor Mini-Trot Grand Prix was held and won by IL·LUSIÓ RV, driven by Amalia Riera. This was followed by ten more races, with two especially notable ones. One of the most sought-after trophies, the Artà Prize, went to the duo of MANILA WEST and M. Mestre, who completed the 2,375 meters in 1’20″0. As for the Felanitx Prize, it was won by DIORICIMO D`EVA, once again driven by M. Mestre, with a lap time of 1’17″8.
