With a total budget of €470,000, the call includes seven funding lines to support sports promotion, technical training, and participation in competitions outside the island.
The Consell Insular de Menorca has published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) the official call for grant applications to promote sports and physical activity in Menorca. These grants are aimed at non-profit sports organisations for the 2024–2025 season.
The main goal of this initiative is to support sports organisations in Menorca with the promotion of sports, associative management and operations, organization and dissemination of activities, participation in off-island competitions, and the training of sports coaches.
The total budget allocated for this grant program is €470,000, which represents an increase of €30,000 compared to the previous year’s allocation of €440,000. The deadline to submit applications is July 31, 2025, inclusive.

These grants provide Menorca’s non-profit sports organisations with the minimum resources necessary to offer quality training for school-age athletes, maintain a high level of general sports practice, and foster a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the program encourages sports competition at local, regional (Balearic), national, and international levels.
